IND DE VERE
BACKGROUND

ABOUT

Ind (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist and dancer originally from London, who now lives nomadically. They are curious about movement practices in the social environment, engaging communities and people from various cultural backgrounds.
Their work is often tender but heavily embodied - whilst using elements of somatic practices such as Feldenkrais and Tai Chi to relate to surrounding matter or objects.

They are interested in the role of performance and sharing of ideas in the current political climate - specifically how can questions relating to belonging, housing and identity be communicated in an inclusive way. They believe that the Climate and Refugee Crises are inextricably linked and therefore how we relate to ourselves and 'otherness' is in need of direct consideration.
